BE ENGAGING. BE RELEVANT. BE INSPIRING.
Every business, every brand, every person has a story to tell. So what's yours? I'll help you find the right words, the right content and the right platform to tell your story.
ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY?
Then let's begin...
Each and every one of us, individuals or businesses, have stories to tell. Good content tells your story. Let me help you shape the narrative. The world’s a better place with more stories in it.
Good training is about finding a way to relate to people, impart knowledge and inspire passion. I run training courses for individuals, groups and businesses across a range of topics.
Good consultancy is about listening, understanding and caring. I help businesses develop a better understanding of where they want to go; and then I help them get there.
We all love a good story. Think back to the tales of your childhood. Stories matter.
You'll find mine below...along with thoughts on the digital industry, contemporary culture and the odd recipe thrown in!
You see the bald chap grimacing in the photo? That’s me. In fact, that’s me rowing a Cornish Pilot Gig out in the Isles of Scilly during the final of the 2015 World Pilot Gig Championships. It’s quite a story about how I ended up there; in a beautiful wooden boat, in the middle of the Atlantic, with six others. Hopefully I can tell it to you one day.
I’m Tommy Tonkins and I was brought up believing in the power of stories, the beauty of the imagination and the faith that anything is possible if you want it enough. It’s a belief that stays with me to this day.
With a background in creative writing and journalism, I’m passionate about helping people communicate effectively to their audience across multiple-platforms. I help them find the words that work for them, to pick out the threads of their stories and to weave them together.
When I’m not doing this, you’ll find me in a wooden boat, training on the beach or buried in a book somewhere. If you want to find out a bit more me about head on over to Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook – I’m not shy. Alternatively, just drop me a line with any questions – I’d love to help.
